The Labour Party will publish its submission to the mid-term review of the National Drugs Strategy today, saying the Government is losing the war on drugs.

The party's justice spokesperson, Joe Costello, says that despite the launch of the Criminal Assets Bureau and the proceeds of the Crime Bill, after the death of Veronica Guerin, drug gangs are more active now in Ireland than ever before.
