AA warns petrol price rise imminent

The Automobile Association has warned motorists to expect rises in the price of petrol over the coming weeks due to growing international oil prices.

The price of crude oil reached an all-time high of more than $52-a-barrel in the United States last night, the third time this week prices have reached record levels.
