Ousted superintendent to keep Garda pension

Former Garda Superintendent Kevin Lennon will retain his Garda pension despite being sacked yesterday.

Justice Minister Michael McDowell said it would be akin to a massive fine or punishment if the Government tried to deny him the pension.
