Minister for Justice Michael McDowell is due to table legislation in the Dáil today to clear up confusion about the holding of alcohol-free discos in licensed premises.

The confusion arose from last year's Intoxicating Liquor Act, which banned under-18s from licensed premises even when the bar itself was closed.
