Greens keen to establish own identity before considering coalition

The Green Party is determined to distinguish itself from Fine Gael and Labour before it will even consider a rainbow coalition, it claimed today.

Party leader Trevor Sargent said the priority was to establish clear policies on everything from agriculture to third level fees in order to secure a strong base of support.
