‘Nine million text messages sent in Ireland every day’

More than nine million text messages are sent in Ireland every day, according to a survey carried out by IBEC’s Mobile Marketing Forum.

The survey also found that men download more games and sports alerts than women, who, in turn, download more ringtones and logos.
