Taoiseach plays down Brennan rift reports

The Taoiseach has played down speculation of a rift between himself and the Minister for Social and Family Affairs, Seamus Brennan.

Weekend reports suggested Bertie Ahern was on the verge of sacking Seamus Brennan from the Cabinet until intervention from Tánaiste Mary Harney.
