UK politicians to observe Irish smoke ban

British politicians will visit Dublin this week to investigate the success of the ban on smoking in public places.

The UK parliamentary group on smoking and health will talk to their Irish counterparts about the law, which was introduced six months ago, and see what lessons could be applied to the UK.
