Diageo freezes price of Guinness until next summer

The company that manufactures Guinness has announced a freeze in the price of the stout until next summer.

The move by the drinks giant Diageo is believed to be a response to a similar initiative by rival firm Beamish and Crawford, which has frozen the wholesale price of its products until January.
