Second LUAS tram line to open in Dublin today

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Transport Minister Seamus Brennan have officially opened the second line of Dublin's new LUAS tram system.

The Red Line between Tallaght in the west of the city and Connolly Station in the city centre is due to begin carrying passengers from 3pm today.
