New Ashford-Rathnew bypass to be opened later today

The €182m Ashford-Rathnew bypass is due to be officially opened today, five months ahead of schedule.

The new 26km section of the N11, which was not expected to open until early next year, could remove up to 20,000 vehicles from Ashford and Rathnew every day.
