Funds given to Kavanagh festival

Minister for the Arts, Sport and Tourism John O'Donoghue has announced that he is making funding up to a maximum of €22,000 available towards the programme costs of the Patrick Kavanagh Centenary Festival.

The celebrations will be spread over October and November this year, with the calendar of events covering the areas of music, literature, theatre, dance and visual art.
