A 48-year old-man has died following a road accident in Co Cork.

A 48-year old-man has died following a road accident in Co Cork.

He died when the car he was driving crashed at Ballyhooleen, Ballinhassig, shortly before 2am this morning.

He was pronounced dead at Cork University Hospital.

It brings to five the number of people killed on the roads this weekend.
