Ryan withdraws from Presidential race

Green Party TD Eamon Ryan has withdrawn from the Presidential race.

Although the Greens fully endorsed his candidacy, Deputy Ryan informed a meeting of the party in Clonakilty this afternoon that he would not be able to proceed with his election challenge.
