Green Party to meet today

Senior members of the Green Party meet in Clonakilty, Co Cork today to make a decision on the Presidential Election.

Green TD Eamon Ryan requires the backing of his Party's National Executive and Council in order to seek a further 14 signatures from members of the Oireachtas in order to enter the race.

Yesterday, the Green Party said it was not a foregone conclusion that those 14 signatures could be relied on.
