Ulster Unionist Party leader David Trimble has called for an early statement from the Provisional IRA regarding its future intentions.

Speaking at Leeds Castle in Britain today, Mr Trimble said such a statement was needed to help the Northern parties focus on restoring the political institutions in the North.
