Employment figures up in June

Industrial employment was 243,700 in June 2004 - a decrease of 6,300 from June 2003.

Between March and June 2004 there was a seasonally-adjusted increase of 1,400 in industrial employment, according to figures released today by the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
