Two missing after car plunge

Two people are still missing after their car plunged into a flooded river in Co Cork this afternoon.

Three people were in the car when the accident happened, near Bantry in the valley of the Coomhola Mountains at about 3.30pm.

One child managed to escape but a mother and her daughter are still missing. The car has been found but as yet there is no news about the missing pair.
