OECD report criticised by Labour

The Labour party has expressed its opposition to the reintroduction of college fees as recommended by an OECD-commissioned report on higher level education.

The party says there's no evidence to suggest that a return of fees will increase access to third level education, claiming that the opposite may in fact occur by effectively squeezing out the less well-off.
