Dublin City Council has reportedly voted overwhelmingly to block the development of a controversial waste incinerator in the Poolbeg area of Dublin.

Dublin City Council has reportedly voted overwhelmingly to block the development of a controversial waste incinerator in the Poolbeg area of Dublin.

Reports this morning said the council had passed motions opposing the so-called “mass-burn” incinerator by 32 votes to five. The motions were tabled by Sinn Féin and the Labour Party.
