Slovak's murder: Three released

Three non-nationals arrested this morning in connection with the death of a Slovakian man were released tonight without charge.

The two men in their 20s and one woman in her 30s were questioned for 12 hours under the Criminal Justice Act.

A Garda spokesman said a file would be forwarded to the DPP on the matter.

The 32-year-old Slovakian man died in the Mater Hospital last night after he was taken by ambulance from a house in nearby Cabra Park in Phibsboro earlier.

A post-mortem today showed he died from head injuries.

Gardaí have issued an appeal to witnesses in the Cabra Park area to contact them in relation to the incident.

The victim has not yet been named by gardaí.
