Kilkenny man hospitalised in Sydney

A Kilkenny man is seriously ill in hospital after a row outside a nightclub in Australia.

27-year-old Trevor Sutton from Kilmacow in south Kilkenny is understood to have fallen and hit his head on a kerb following the incident outside a Sydney nightclub.

Members of his family are to make the 24 hour trip to Australia to be at his bedside.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that an Irish man has been hospitalised in Sydney, but is not releasing further information.
