Three quizzed over Slovakian man's death

Three non-nationals were being quizzed tonight about the death of a Slovakian man on Dublin’s northside last night.

The 32-year-old died in the Mater Hospital at around 10pm after being taken by ambulance from a house in Cabra Park in nearby Phibsboro.

Gardaí said two men in their 20s and one woman in her 30s were arrested this morning in connection with the incident.

They can be held for 12 hours under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Mountjoy Square Garda Station.

Gardai have also appealed for any witnesses who were in the Cabra Park area after 8pm last night.

The Garda Press Office said it was not yet naming the dead man.
