SF calls for adoption of ‘zero waste’ strategy in Dublin

Sinn Féin has called on the local authorities in Dublin to adopt a “zero waste” strategy for the capital.

In its submission to the review of the current Dublin waste management strategy, the party criticised the Government’s reliance on landfill and incineration and said more effort was needed to reduce, reuse and recycle waste.
