Walsh: 2003 was 'watershed year for farming'

Agriculture Minister Joe Walsh has described 2003 as “a watershed year for Irish agriculture”.

Commenting on the publication of his department’s annual report for the year, Mr Walsh said the conclusion of negotiations on reform of the EU Common Agriculture Policy was the highlight of 2003.
