Ten people killed in weekend of road carnage

Ten people were killed in accidents on Ireland’s roads over the weekend, bringing the death toll so far this year to 272.

Three of the victims – two men and woman – died in a head-on collision between two cars in Co Tipperary early yesterday morning.
