Cancer mortality rates ‘higher south of the border’

The Republic of Ireland has a worse record in tackling cancer than the authorities in the North, according to a report published today.

The report by the cancer registries on both sides of the border showed that mortality rates for prostate cancer in the Republic were significantly higher than those in the North.
