National pay deal could be ratified tomorrow

The second phase of the Sustaining Progress agreement is expected to be ratified by the trade union movement tomorrow following SIPTU’s vote to support the deal.

Ireland’s largest trade union said yesterday that it members had voted to accept the agreement by a margin of 70% to 30%.
