Post mortem on Co Kildare body inconclusive

Gardaí are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the suspicious death of a young woman whose body was found in Co Kildare at the weekend.

The remains were discovered in a derelict house in Eadestown, between Blessington and Naas, on Saturday.

The woman is believed to have been in her 20s and gardaí believe her body had lain undiscovered for up to five days.

A post mortem on the body has proved inconclusive and further toxicology tests are due to be carried out today.
