Protest planned at CRH office over Israeli wall
The Socialist Workers' Party is to stage a protest tomorrow at the offices of construction giant Cement Roadstone Holdings to highlight what it deems the company's part in the building of the Israeli wall through the West Bank.
CRH owns a stake in the Mashav Group, an Israeli company which is involved of the building of the wall in the West Bank. Cement from this company is being used in the construction of the wall.
Gino Kenny, one of the organisers said: "We are calling on people to come out and support this protest, and show their disgust…CRH should not profit from a project that is causing so much hardship and destruction in Palestine."
The protest takes place at 2pm at the CRH head office on Cookstown Road in Dublin.
