Archaeological finds unearthed on road route

New archaeological sites have been discovered around the hill of Tara, on the proposed route of the M3 motorway in Co Meath.

The 10 sites include a military fort, scattered settlements and burial grounds. A conservationist group is now preparing legal action against the construction of the motorway through the sites.
