Tunnel project reaches new milestone

Ireland’s most ambitious engineering scheme reaches a milestone today as the Dublin Port Tunnel breaks through in the north of the city.

After two years of non-stop work on the flagship €715m project, the tunnel-boring machine is to complete the route to Collins Avenue, Whitehall.
