Man threatens gardaí

Armed man threatens staff at Shankill Gardai in Co Dublin.

A man is in custody at Shankill garda station after he threatened a number of staff there.

The man who is believed to be in his twenties produced a pellet gun and threatened some of the gardaí on duty.

Following negotiations with gardaíthe weapon was handed over.

No shots were fired and no one was injured.
