Elderly couple killed in Co Down road accident

An elderly couple have died after the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry in Co Down yesterday evening.

The accident happened on the Killinchy road near Comber at around 6pm.

The retired couple were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the lorry is believed to have suffered minor injuries and shock.
