Irish B&Bs advised to target online booking market
A company that helps tourists make holiday reservations in Ireland has advised B&Bs to target the online market in an effort to boost flagging visitor numbers.
Gulliver Ireland said its latest study of the B&B sector had found that online bookings were becoming more popular.
The company said B&Bs were suffering a loss of business due to a 20% increase in costs over the past three years and competition from budget hotels.
