Gardaí investigate Drogheda death

Gardaí in Co Louth are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Drogheda this morning.

The man’s body was found on the steps of an apartment building on Mill Lane at around 7.30am.

He is believed to have been in his 30s. Gardaí say the man had serious injuries to his neck.

The scene of the discovery has been preserved for technical examination and a post-mortem will be carried out later today.
