Post-mortem on Antrim body 'inconclusive'

A post-mortem examination carried out on a young man who died in Co Antrim have proved inclusive, police said tonight.

A post-mortem examination carried out on a young man who died in Co Antrim have proved inclusive, police said tonight.

The body of Scott Magowan, 25, was discovered in a house in the Wakehurst area of Ballymena around 2pm yesterday.

Mr Magowan, who was from the Parkhall area of Antrim had been reported missing by his family on Saturday afternoon.

A PSNI spokesman said further tests would be carried out to ascertain how he died.

He said the circumstances surrounding Mr Magowan’s death were still not known.

Detectives have appealed to anyone who had contact with Mr Magowan over the weekend to contact them.
