Man stabbed trying to stop car theft

A man was stabbed with a screwdriver and beaten as he tried to stop a gang of youths from stealing a neighbour’s car today.

He was attacked as he took on a group of eight who he saw breaking into the car on the Old Suffolk Road, west Belfast, at 5am.
