Suspect device discovered in Derry

Bomb disposal experts in the North are examining a suspect device found in Maghera, Co Derry this morning.

A local woman discovered the device outside her home at around 7.30am. A number of nearby houses have been evacuated.

Local SDLP Assemblyman Patsy McGlone has blamed loyalist paramilitaries for planting the device and said it might be linked to a contentious parade in the area last weekend.
