Dubliner recovering after gun attack

A 22-year-old man is recovering this morning after being injured in a shooting in the Coolock area of Dublin.

The victim was confronted by two masked men at his home on Clonshaugh Drive shortly before 11pm.

The men chased him out of the house and onto the road before firing three shots at him from a handgun.

The man was taken to nearby Beaumont Hospital, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
