Child dies in freak soccer pitch accident

A 10-year-old boy has died after a set of goalposts collapsed on him during a summer soccer camp in Co Limerick.

The boy is believed to have suffered serious injuries to his head and upper body in the accident, which happened at around 3.45pm.
