Arabic TV claims Irishman killed in Saudi
An Arabic television station has reported an Irishman has been killed in his office in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh.
The claim has been made by Arab satellite TV station, Al-Arabiya. The Department of Foreign Affairs cannot yet confirm the news, but is contacting authorities there.
Militants linked to al-Qaida have targeted Western nationals in a campaign since May 2003 to destabilize the world's largest oil exporter.
