A 24-year-old man was killed after the motorcycle on which he was a pillion passenger went out of control and into a ditch near Carnew in Co Wicklow.

A 24-year-old man was killed after the motorcycle on which he was a pillion passenger went out of control and into a ditch near Carnew in Co Wicklow.

The incident occurred just after 6pm yesterday.
