Redmond wins costs after corruption conviction quashed
Former assistant Dublin City and County manager George Redmond was today awarded costs for his successful appeal hearing.
Mr Redmond, 80, had his corruption conviction quashed this week after the court of criminal appeal ruled that bank records rendered the conviction “unsafe and unsatisfactory”.
