Elderly woman killed in Mayo house fire

A woman in her 80s has died in a house fire near Claremorris, Co Mayo.

The fire broke out at around 11.30pm last night in the Kilbeg area of Malone.

The cause of the blaze is unknown, but the scene has been preserved for forensic examination.
