Two men killed in Co Carlow road accident

Two men have died after the car they were travelling in struck a tree in Co Carlow in the early hours of this morning.

The accident happened on Main Street in Clonegal at around 12.40am.

Three other occupants of the car were taken to hospital in Wexford with minor injuries.

Gardaí are withholding the dead men’s names until all next of kin are informed.
