Disability Authority launches publication

The National Disability Authority today gave recommendations for Personal Assistance Services (PAS) for people with disabilities in Ireland.

The recommendations are included in the latest issue of its publication, Disability Agenda, which was launched today.

The issue, entitled International Practice in Personal Assistance Services for People with Disabilities, looks at several international models and gives recommendations for Personal Assistance Services (PAS) for people with disabilities in Ireland.

The objective of Disability Agenda is to support the work of the NDA in further raising public awareness about disability and influencing the development of services.

The National Disability Authority works on behalf of the State to promote and help to secure the rights of people with disabilities.
