Video launched to help tackle schizophrenia

Schizophrenia Ireland has launched a video designed to help sufferers and their families come to the terms with the disorder.

The organisation said an estimated 1% of people worldwide suffered from schizophrenia, but the illness was poorly understood.

It said early diagnosis was the key to a successful recovery from the disorder.
