Flynn: I would take the cheque again

Padraig Flynn has told the Mahon Tribunal that he saw nothing wrong with taking £50,000 from Mr Gilmartin and would accept a similarly large donation if in the same position today.

Asked by Judge Alan Mahon if he saw anything wrong with accepting a donation equal to his salary from someone who was neither a friend nor a constituent, he replied: “No and I’d do the same again.”
