Research conducted by the Crisis Pregnancy Agency has found that one-third of pregnancies in Ireland are unplanned.

Reports this morning said the research had found that there was no lack of knowledge about birth control, but failure to use contraception or a failed method of contraception were the most common causes of unplanned pregnancies.
